Start Date: April/May 2021 Pay: MPS FTE Salary £19,335 - £20,483 per annum (actualsalary £16,555.88 - £17,538.87 per annum) 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks pa (term time plusinsets) We are looking to recruit a Learning SupportAssistant to work as a member of the LSA team supporting students across allsubjects in groups and/or on a one to one basis. LSAs may be required to provide personalcare so candidates must be confident and comfortable with this responsibility.You will act as an extension of the Schoolspastoral system by acting as a listening ear and confidante for students andprovide general support for students who are re-integrating into schoolfollowing prolonged absence /change of school /exclusion. Previous experience as a teaching assistant ispreferred. A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to communicatewell with others and demonstrate good organisational skills is essential. Knowledge and understanding of safeguardingchildren, the needs of children and child development and the ways in whichchildren learn is essential.
