Job Description

Start Date: January 2022 Pay: KR3 - Pro Rata We are looking to appoint a Learning Partner tojoin our school in January to work initially with our Reception class.The applicant will need to be qualified, have someexperience working in Early Years and havean understanding of the developmentand needs of young children. Knowledge of the Foundation Stage curriculum isdesirable and they should have experience of working as part of a team.Applicants would also benefit from experience inother key stages as staffare required to be adaptable and be able to work indifferent classes over time. The candidate would need to demonstrate strongliteracy and numeracy skills in order to assist the teacher in deliveringthe lessons and to enable the children to reach their fullpotential. The successful candidate will be required to set uplearning areas, lead intervention groups and support children with learningneeds as well as occasionally being responsible for the whole class. They wouldalso need to be flexible and enthusiasticwith a positive attitude. This is a part-time permanent appointment(term-time only) 30h per week, 8.35am until 3.20pm Monday to Friday. Thepost will be paid on KR3 pro rata (see Job Description for more details). Wewould also consider applications for parttime hours.
