Start Date: November 2021 Pay: KR6 Here at Tunbury, we are looking to appoint a KeyStage 2 Learning Mentor for our wonderful school. If you are caring, empatheticand dependable, then we want you! This is a part-time post, with hours of work being12:30pm-4:30pmMonday- Friday, term time only. We can offer a professional and friendly setting,with people who work hard to make Tunbury a very special place to be.The Learning Mentor will work with children inYears 3-6, including: Lunchtime provision for identifiedchildren1:1check-ins with children on your caseload(primarily pupil premium children)Support for these childrens learning, includingincreasing their engagement1:1 mentoring and support to address barriers tolearningOrganising enrichment opportunities for PPchildrenand if possible a wider groupEmergency support for behaviourLiaison with caseload familiesMonitoring of attendanceBehaviour support including ISPs, riskassessments, meetings and reintegration following fixed termexclusionsOur suuccessful candidate will becaring andempathetic, but also firm and fair, with clear expectations.
