Bexley Primary SchoolThamesmead LondonIntervention Teacher KS1 & KS2Catch-Up ProgramApril 2021A primary school in the London borough of Bexley, Thamesmead is looking to appoint an Intervention Teacher to start after the Easter break. The position will continue for the rest of the academic year. This is a "Good" 2 Form entry primary school.You will be working across KS1 and KS2 to bring up academic levels as a result of children missing considerable face to face classroom teaching over the past 12 months, you will be responsible for delivering intensive, group and 1:1 interventions to help them catch up on missed classroom time and education.You will need to be confident in a variety of year groups, across all key stages, however initially there will be more directed interventions in KS2. You will be required to participate in planning, in conjunction with the class teachers and SENCo.
