Job Description

Interim IT Services Manager required ASAP to manage a team of 5 across the organisations Infrastructure. 3+ months assignment whilst a permanent search is carried out. Workloads will be focused around leadership with some hands on duties when required. Sitebased 5 days a week, parking available and free meals throughout the day.Client DetailsOut client are a well known organisation in Wiltshire.DescriptionThe Interim IT Services Manager will manage the data network and infrastructure, reprographics, audio and telecommunications systems. Manage all centrally provided electronic hardware and applications. Demonstrating strong leadership, you will carry outthis role pro-actively, innovatively and cost-effectively.

  • Lead a team of 5 in a desktop environment
  • Manage the data network, infrastructure and telecommunications systems and hardware, including routine monitoring and maintenance of services, asset management, capacity management, upgrades and replacement.
  • To ensure ICT systems and processes are secure. To monitor the incident management process on a daily basis, ensuring that incidents and requests are prioritised and managed to successful conclusion
  • Be top escalation point of contact
  • Budget management
  • Project management
  • To identify and design service improvements
  • To assist the ICT Service Team on the Help desk as and when necessary.
  • To liaise with key stakeholders within the organisation.
  • To contribute to the development of ICT strategy
ProfileThe Successful Interim IT Services Manager will have a proven track record in:
  • Management of a team of technical specialists
  • Microsoft Tech Stack
  • Up to date technical knowledge of a wide range of networks, ICT systems and emerging technologies
  • Project management
  • Budget management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to make and execute informed decisions and balance competing demands
Job OfferDay rate upon application - Inside IR35Initial duration of 3 months (possible extension or permanent contract)On site 5 days a week (central Wiltshire) Working hours are Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)Free parking and meals on site
