Head of Higher Education- Hybrid WorkingWe are currently supporting a thriving national training provider that is experiencing record growth and has a great reputation for quality alongside being a great place to work.As an experienced Senior manager within Higher Education, you can expect to receive a highly competitive salary of up to £75000 alongside the genuine opportunity for career progression.This is the start of an exciting journey for this Training Group and the successful appointment will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Higher Education business unit.The role is home-based, however, flexibility to travel will be a requirement.The Head of Higher Education will lead the strategy and establishment of the division and will lead the exploration, inception and mobilisation of higher education programmes working in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders. The Head of Higher Education will lead, manage and develop an expanding teaching programme, comprised of multiple industry-relevant courses, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth, ensuring every student receives the highest quality of teaching,learning and feedback, successfully preparing them for roles in industry.Role Summary- Head of Higher EducationThe appointed person will be working directly alongside the Group CEO and the Senior Management team and will take the lead for all activity in relation to the establishment and success of a new higher education division.Typical duties and responsibilities of the Senior Manager- Higher Education Lead on the scoping of appropriate higher education programmes, supporting the groups current marketing offering and analysis of the higher education sector Work with both internal and external stakeholders to take a higher education concept within the group from strategy to mobilisation. Build, manage, and develop relationships with all key partners and Stakeholders Take a lead on the establishment of a range of higher education programmes, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth, ensuring every student receives the highest quality of teaching, learning and feedback, successfully preparing them for rolesin industry. Recruit and manage a diverse team including teaching staff, marketing and engagement teams, pastoral support and admissions. Ensure business growth by working alongside Senior Teams to drive a strong commercial strategy for higher education delivery. Establish data systems and analysis reports with the ability to make sound recommendations and changes, ensuring all students have every opportunity to succeed.Skills and Experience required for the Head of Higher Education Proven track record in Senior Management within Higher Education Strong Project Management experience including leading higher educational projects from concept to delivery Extensive knowledge of managing Higher Education Programmes Be fully conversant with funding methodology in Higher Education Extensive knowledge of Higher Education Curriculum Development Strong track record in building relationships and managing stakeholders Demonstrates a proven track record in Operational Management and an Entrepreneurial mindset Experience in managing performance through people and budget management Ideally, be Teacher Qualified with extensive experience working to Outstanding, Teaching Learning and Assessment Experience of Ofsted and Awarding bodies is essentialFor more information please contact Simon Atkins at Pertemps Newcastle on
