Job Description

Finance Business Partner - Southern RegionLocation: Regionally based (hybrid working) - requires travel throughout the South of UKSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus car and great benefitsDuration: PermanentDo you have proven experience business partnering with senior non financial stakeholdersDo you have experience of using multiple sources of information and analysis to create a compelling summary of the findingsDo you have experience of answering complex business questions and creating a hypothesis for senior stakeholdersCan you demonstrate detailed accounts of how you have influenced business decisions and impacted performance positivelyDo you have experience of managing multiple stakeholders with competing demands and in some instances tight timescalesDo you have Finance Business Partnering experience within logistics, distribution, depots, retail, FMCG or multi site businessesIf so, we would like to discuss a truly commercial Finance Business Partner role with you for an instantly recognisable and reputable UK retail business.This is a great commercial and value adding role where you are able to immerse yourself within the company and gain great exposure at a key time in their strategic plan. This is a senior and visible position working closely with senior stakeholders acrossthe business to provide robust commercial insight that will drive costs, maximise performance and drive initiatives for profitable growthThe role will be tasked to provide clear and robust value add commercial insights to the operations teams, central teams and depots which drive performance, improving actions and decision making. You will be tasked to deal with complex problems and businessscenarios, and deliver compelling story telling across performance reporting.You will also be able to demonstrate business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across the breadth of a variety of functions. Good communication skills - able to translate financial information and create successful business relationships. You will alsobe able to take a big picture view with demonstrable internal consultancy and influencing skills, while possessing a keen eye for the detailThe successful applicant will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified coming from a similar commercial finance role and being able to demonstrate being an effective business partner, decision maker, having commercial awareness and being a finance lead where you havedriven value add and commercial insight /benefit. Experience within the logistics, distribution, depots, retail, FMCG, multisite sectors is desirable.You will have strong business partnering, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills and in particular the ability to communicate, direct, challenge and influence senior level individuals. Focussed on delivering specific objectives, youwill be proactive, adaptable, dynamic and self-motivated with a desire to find and deliver improvements. In addition you will have the ability to work independently and together with other personnel both finance and non-finance.We are looking for someone with sparkle, drive & energy to come in and really drive some significant improvement. The individual in this role needs to have strong analytical skills, business partnering and influencing skills in order to be a success in acomplex area of the business with multiple stakeholders.
