The RoleWe are seeking to appoint an Examinations Officers to join our team.As an Examination Officer at Reach Academy Feltham you will provide accurate information and perform administrative duties related to students examinations and achievements.Youwill have the passion and the skills to ensure the organisation and delivery of internal and external examinations within the school.This opportunity will support all students, parent / carers and colleagues throughout the examination process, ensuring accuracyand data compliance at all times.This role is suited to a highly organised person, ideally with project coordination or event organisation experience and skills within a school. You will have strong communication skills both on the phone and face to face,thrive in a fast-paced environment.Main Responsibilities Organise all arrangements for all public examinations (e.g. GCSE, BTEC and A Level and Oxbridge examinations) and internal examinations. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of timetables,making examination entries, organisation of accommodation, invigilation arrangements and liaising with staff, students and parents over arrangements as required. Follow all JCQ regulations related to the planning and running of public examinations, ensuringcentre compliance with all requirements, keeping up to date with changes and corresponding with the awarding bodies as required. Providing advice and guidance to the Head of Centre regarding legislation and guidance related to external examinations. Managethe team of invigilators, including recruitment, training, and deployment of invigilation staff. Deal with issues relating to appeals, reviews of marking and special consideration. Organise appropriate examination access arrangements for affected studentsin conjunction with the SENCO. Managing the safe receipt and dissemination of examination results and certificates to candidates. Deal with enquiries from staff, parents, pupils and students and alumni.
