Job Description

Ecologist Consultant - WiltshireMy client, a market leading multidisciplinary Ecological Consultancy is seeking a talented Ecologist Consutlant to join the team.The successful candidate will be friendly and hardworking and will work with a variety of small and large scale clients and projects around Wiltshire. This excellent opportunity offers a balance of field and office work where you will collaborate amongsta supportive team across the area with very little travel further afield.The Role:You will have project management and field experience, with the majority of the work being completed in the local area.The successful candidate will:

  • Have at least one or working towards a Protected Species Licence.
  • Have experience project managing.
  • Have experience writing high-quality reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals.
  • Complete protected species work (including Bat, Newt, Barn Owl, Badger etc).
  • Develop appropriate mitigation and ECIA reports.
  • Ideally have CIEEM membership.
  • Effectively and safely implement environmental surveys.
  • Present ecological method statements.
  • Be comfortable dealing with clients and writing high quality reports.
Key Skills:The successful candidate will:
  • Hold a degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Have good experience in project managing.
  • Have experience with protected species.
