Digital IT Skills TutorPertemps Work Based Learning are currently working in partnership with a fantastic non-profit organisation.This company are Rated as Outstanding by Ofsted, and have a great reputation within Education and Training.The organisation is keen to find like-minded people to join the team. To help make a difference in the lives of those experiencing in-work poverty, by providing new opportunities, and chances to upskill.Due to a period of growth, the team is now looking to expand with a new team based and bring on a Digital IT Skills Tutor. The role of the tutor will involve delivering short courses within Digital IT Services, from entry level to Level 3. £28,000 - £36,000 Hybrid Working 25 Days + Bank Holidays Up to 6% Matched Pension Contribution Option for Flexible Working Internal Health and Wellbeing Team Employee Assistance Program, Gym Discounts, and option to buy holiday also available. Great training support, with access to learning programmes through company platform.Key Duties of the Digital IT Skills Tutor Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their qualification in Digital IT Skills, which includes Digital Product Design Use and develop a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners individual needs. Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learners qualification and meet the needs of the qualification. Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential. Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience. Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress Visit and observe learners in their place of work to support and gather evidenceSkills, Knowledge, and Experience required for the Digital IT Skills Tutor Assessors Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent) Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent). Experience in delivering training and coaching sessions to learners. Ability to demonstrate up to date vocational competence, alongside sector knowledge in Digital IT Skills Knowledge of Digital Product Design, Web, Graphic or Visual Design. Full UK Driving Licence, with access to own vehicle and a flexibility to travel within the West Midlands.This position is being managed by Simon Atkins at Pertemps Work Based Learning.
