Sitec, a Belcan company are looking for a Commercial Manager to work on a 4 months contract within the Public Sector. The role will be based from home.* The role is to lead on, develop and deliver complex grant schemes and procurements for the Nature for Climate Fund (NCF) programme. All delivery will be compliant with the Cabinet Office Grants Functional Standard and Public Contract Procurement Regulations, at all times ensuring the correct type of aid instrument is utilised. (i.e. grant or contract)* The Nature for Climate Fund (NCF) will deploy £640m over 5 years, through Core Defra and Defra Arms Length Bodies and other partners, to help secure some of the environmental, economic and social outcomes envisaged in the 25 Year Environment Plan (25YEP). The role holder will be expected to maintain oversight of commercial delivery of the NCF programme.* The work will involve promoting grant & procurement policies and procedures whilst influencing the final outcomes. It includes the provision of expert advice to the NCF Policy Teams on grant/commercial issues and governance and operational support to the team. They will also be expected to liaise as appropriate with other internal stakeholders including Finance Business Partners, Counter Fraud Teams, State Aid and Legal.* The role is to manage spend effectively and innovatively in order to meet the programme outcomes. The post-holder will undertake a strategic management and influencing role and also be expected to personally deliver more complex requirements.Essential Experience required:* Commercial experience and Grants experience (up to agreement)* PCR knowledge - Public Contract Regulations* Confidence in engaging across government (FCDO)Desirable Experience required:* Experience on Bravo (preferred)This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan
