We have an excellent opportunity for a Boarding House Matron to join our team, assisting with the care of our pupils within a Boarding House at Taunton School (Senior).The role is the first point of contact for pupils and requires someone who is proactive,flexible and empathetic, providing a strong presence in the Boarding House during the day. In addition, the role is responsible for overseeing, and working alongside, a team of Domestic staff to ensure that the house is cleaned to a high standard.With experienceof working with children and young people, and a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding, you will be capable of providing the highest possible care and attention to our pupils. To be successful in your application you will have a strongunderstanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation, along with skills such as: exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act on your own initiative.
