Job Description

Robert Half are working with an industry leading business currently undergoing global transformation project. We are seeking talented Assistant Management Accountants to join our finance team in Keynsham.This is a huge opportunity to join an organisation that is going through a huge amount of change and could be massive opportunity for personal development being part of a project of this scale.Duration: 6 monthsRate: Up to £200 per day (Experience dependent)Hybrid working: 3 days in office - 2 from home.Job Summary:As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team throughout our global transformation project. Working closely with the Management Accountants, you will assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgeting,forecasting, and variance analysis. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in providing accurate financial information, driving business performance, and supporting decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data for various projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and other ad-hoc analyses.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and processes as part of the global transformation project.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Professional qualification or working towards obtaining one.
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or in a similar finance role.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software is a plus.
  • Strong analytically and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
