Job Description

Looking to build on your sales experience Progress your career with a market leaderWe are recruiting for the worlds fastest growing power tool manufacturer, with sales of $13b turnover across Europe, Asia, Australasia, North America, Latin America and the Middle East. Customers are consumers, professionals and industrial users in theDIY, repair and construction industries.Most managers and directors in the business have been promoted from within.Area Sales ExecutiveA commercially focused sales role taking ownership of an existing territory, where your main focus will be on developing and growing the sales of a targeted category into a mix of established existing and new accounts.Responsibilities:

  • Work on your own initiative to co-ordinate and implement strategies on delivering sales growth
  • Develop new clients within your territory and build on relationships with existing customers
  • Successfully present and sell a product range development plan and promotional campaigns
  • Provide forecasting figures to your line manager with monthly turnover estimates in line with target and budget expectations at a customer level

  • Effective communication in keeping the internal stakeholders; management team, marketing dept aware of the opportunities that are available within the market for the brand.
  • Work closely with the Line Manager, to help develop & advance the brand
  • Plenty of travel required across the patch including possible overnight stays
Vacancies available in North East, North West, Midlands/East Anglia, South East and South WestPackage:
  • Base salary £31.8k
  • 20% bonus paid out quarterly - based on company and individual performance

Profile
  • Relevant Sales experience in a related industry, preferable
  • Strong selling, negotiation and relationship development skills
  • An understanding of the tools/DIY industry is advantageous
  • To be enthusiastic, sales driven and a strategic thinker
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral; must be able to communicate at all levels
  • Real commitment to providing excellent customer service and acquire sound product knowledge
  • Strong planning and territory development skills
  • UK travel and occasional European travel will be required
