Job Description

3rd Line IT Support SpecialistSomerset (3 days a week onsite)£35,000 - £45,000A growing business in Somerset are seeking a dedicated 3rd Line IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing advanced technical support, resolving complex IT issues, and contributing to the overall management and maintenanceof client IT infrastructure.3rd Line IT Support Specialist key responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving technical issues in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • 3rd line ticket management
  • Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line support teams to efficiently resolve IT issues.
  • Update and reference client documentation and user guides to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform system upgrades, installations, and configurations.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of client IT infrastructure.
  • Carry out on-site work, including troubleshooting, infrastructure installation, hardware refresh, and participation in various IT projects.
3rd Line IT Support Specialist Technical skills required:
  • Experience resolving 2nd & 3rd line support tickets
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, etc.) and experience with different server versions (2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience, including InTune and Endpoint management, as well as PowerShell skills.
  • Networking diagnosis skills
  • Experience in firewall management
  • Troubleshooting experience with Mac and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience working within ITIL frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with experience in time logging.
