Job Description

Summary: Our client is on the lookout for a Group Financial Accountant to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will be centered around making sure that the firm satisfies its external reporting requirements. You should be Qualified Accountant withat least 5 years relevant PQE, and possess some prior experience of financial reporting.This role will be undertaken on a hybrid basis with a mixture of home working and working from the firms Head Office in Exmoor.What will you be doing as a Group Financial Accountant

  • Undertaking financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.
  • Maintaining reporting compliance across all group companies.
  • Managing cashflow including but not limited to invoice discounting requirements, and intercompany trading.
Skills/Qualifications of a Group Financial Accountant:
  • You should be a Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years relevant PQE.
  • You should possess some prior experience of external financial reporting, and experience of Cashflow Management/Invoice Discounting would be advantageous.
  • You will be able to work under pressure effectively and have strong attention to detail.
  • You will have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as an ability to easily establish rapport with clients.
  • Your excellent Microsoft Excel skills and your ability to learn core systems quickly are essential.
  • Ideally, you will be ambitious and eager to take on more senior roles in time.
