Job Description

Shard Solutions Ltd is a family run window & door installation business based in Surrey, with a head office & warehouse in South Godstone and a showroom in Caterham Valley. We are now looking to expand our ever-growing team and looking for individuals witha similar mindset and hardworking ethic to enhance and add value to the Shard working environment.The role is for an Office Administrator to support our head office in South Godstone and is a varied role with opportunity for growthJob role and duties to name but a few will include:

  • Diary management - Manage bookings of our installations.
  • Requesting and collecting payments from clients regarding their projects with Shard.
  • Managing internal & external communication via telephone, email, directing messages to the correct departments.
  • Preparing documents as requested from senior members of staff.
  • Sorting & checking internal order documents.
  • General admin duties such as filing, organising, scanning etc.
  • Ordering office & kitchen supplies.
Knowledge, skills & experience required:
  • An understanding of a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and people skills: being able to converse with customers, internal departments, and management staff with ease
  • The ability to multitask and be organised in a busy environment
  • Microsoft office knowledge, specifically excel
  • Work well within a team and individually
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (You will need to be able to drive to work as there is no public transport near us)Salary: £23kPension20 days holiday (plus all bank holidays)
