Do you have experience in medical device sales and are looking for the next step in your career We’re currently working with an orthopaedic and sports medicine specialist company who have a global reputation. They’re looking for a motivated and charismatic individual to join them as a Territory Sales Manager for their South Thames region.The companyOur client is a well-respected medical device company who strive to improve patient care and have an unwavering commitment to quality. They have an exciting, broad portfolio of products, spanning orthopaedics, sports medicine, and infection control. Not only this, but they also have a fantastic reputation and are trusted by patients and clinicians alike, in both NHS and private hospitals.They also offer a bespoke training programme with a real emphasis on coaching, making them a fantastic place to embark upon or continue your medical device sales career! You’ll be fully supported in your role and will be provided with top quality training and development.The roleIn the role of Territory Manager you’ll look after our client’s surgical consumables and sports medicine portfolio, directly selling these to surgeons and procurement managers. You’ll join a close-knit team who are all committed to providing the very best for their customers.Responsibilities include:

  • Selling orthopaedic and surgical products to surgeons and procurement
  • Ensuring excellent patient outcomes by training and supporting clinicians and theatre staff
  • Undertaking trials and evaluations of the products within the theatre environment
  • Driving sales using these evaluations
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Customer service
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • The requirementsOur client is looking for someone who is eager to take their next step in their medical device sales career. If you’re personable and driven with a background in orthopaedic or surgical sales, this could be the perfect role for you!The required territory for this role is ideally South Thames but covers the South East, including Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent. You will live within this area, as well as:
  • Degree-level education ideal but not essential
  • 3-5 years’ experience in orthopaedic sales desirable (although surgical sales will also be considered)
  • Successful medical device sales or marketing experience essential
  • Computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good at negotiation
  • Driven and able to hit the ground running
  • Personable
  • Able to work in pressurised environments
  • Flexibility in ways of working
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
