Job Title: Supply Chain ManagerLocation: UK- Flexible - Remote£45 - 50k plus great benefitsOverview:To oversee the management of key agreed suppliers that form part of the Supply chain, ensuring service delivery against contracted terms, SLAs and monthly MI and regulatory reporting. To work closely with the Head of Supply Chain in a cohesive manner to supportGSS and other MISL departments in liaison of supply chain fulfilment.To act as the key point of contact between suppliers and internal departments for all motor supply chain related matters including engineering, GSS Support & Admin teams, Customer Excellence, Quality Assurance, Customer claims, Underwriting and any internaldepartments.Analyse and act on MI provided internally or from our supply chain to improve supplier performance, by issuing action plans, with timescales and required improvement plans.Responsibilities:Job Role Manage assigned suppliers Be the interface between assigned suppliers and internal departments Deliver indemnity savings and reduce operational expense Optimise the customer experience (improve customer satisfaction & reduce complaints) Drive down customer & claims lifecycle - supporting the MSGs Claims Transformation Programme "Home working" but travel to suppliers and office will be neededResponsibilities Support procurement activity Manage suppliers against the SMF to include all stages of the contract lifecycle Conduct formal supplier meetingso Operational performance management - SLAs/KPIso Contract management - compliance with contractual obligationso Change managemento Risk management - identification and mitigation of operational and business riskso Ongoing supplier due diligence Compliance with corporate governance Compliance with vision and values Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationQualifications:Essential Skills Supplier relationship management Supply chain management - desirable Ability to interpret and analyse data Knowledge of contracts - desirable Knowledge of insurance principles - desirable Excellent interpersonal communication skills Analytical and pragmatic approach Self-organising and time managementCompetencies Ability to communicate at all levels Attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritise to meet tight deadlines Good time management Team player Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly ExcelQualificationsHaving or working towards a recognised qualification - desirable
