Job Description

Salary:Competitive salary + Bonus + Car or Car AllowanceJoin a Top Employer 2023Are you an experienced, influential Health and Safety professional with strong leadership skillsAs a Senior H&S Manager, you will work closely with business unit Directors, Regional Directors and Regional Management teams to continually improve the safety of the workplace. Reporting into the Health and Safety Director, you will have line managementof 3 people and have accountability for the delivery of the H&S strategy & programmes in your business area, driving sector leading safety performance and a positive safety culture.This is a field based position with national travel, we are open for someone to be based in the South of England, ideally with easy access to the M25 or M4 corridor.As we continue to expand our H&S team, this is an exciting time to join us. We want to hear from people who want to challenge the status quo and add value to our growing organisation.Up for the challenge Heres what wed like you to have:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification (e.g. Level 6 NVQ Diploma In Occupational Health And Safety Practice, Bachelors Degree etc.).
  • Team management experience with the ability to develop others to fulfil their potential
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to change and improve safety culture within a business
  • Experience of working in a multi-site, fast moving environment, preferably within retail sector in a mid-large organisation
  • Passion, enthusiasm & tenacity
