Job Description

Scientific Engagement Analyst (Data Interpretation and Publication) £c50-70k Base (prorata)South East ABJ6540Temp 8 months (until year end) Are you a scientist with a keen interest in scientific engagement and data interpretation As a Scientific Engagement Analyst, you would support the Regulatory Engagement team to drive the project management processes for all scientific and product-relatedengagement activities within the global team. As scientific engagement and communications analyst you would enhance the acceptance scientific research in Public Health and Institutions and provide timely scientific and product technical support to regulatoryengagement efforts (e.g., forecasting and preparing material needs to assist the teams direct engagement with regulators, key opinion leaders knowledge build, conference platforms and standards bodies and/or adaptation of scientific advocacy, among others.Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and summarizing relevant scientific publications for internal education purposes
  • Assisting in the localisation of scientific advocacy in layperson terms for political and third-party stakeholders
  • Supporting the development of scientific training materials for end-markets
  • Developing and maintaining project management approach for scientific engagement team
  • Creating materials for internal communications campaign purposes
  • Managing conference and communications plan in collaboration with Scientific Research & Development
  • Analyse regulatory scientific and across category product regulation trends
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, Physics, or related field.
  • Analysing and interpreting scientific studies and/or publications.
  • Scientific communications or engagement experience.
  • Interest in science and government policy.
  • Mastery in principles of experimental research design and data interpretation.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify where science can inform other business areas for decision-making purposes.
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize scientific data into layperson terms.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to cater for a multitude of technical and non-technical audiences.
