Youll be a critical team player, working with top consultants.You must have flexibility to travel to client locations when needed.This role is unable to provide sponsorship and all applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. RESPONSIBILITIES As the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect youll be responsible for solution design, presales, delivery, team leadership and importantly thought leadership. In return, youll get to indulge your innovative, curious and creative side.Other responsibilities will include leading and managing project team members. Drive requirements gathering sessions with the client’s technical team and discuss functional requirements with the internal and client teams. SKILLS As the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect you must have the following skills and experience:- Ability to architect and successfully deliver B2C Commerce Storefront solutions from simple MVP approach to complex, multi-geo, multi-integration, enterprise-level implementations- Proficient with web technologies, J2EE, Java, application servers, portal servers, middleware, ecommerce, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance & scalability- Background with Salesforce B2C Commerce (Commerce Cloud/ Demandware) required- Proficient in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL- Demonstrate proficiency in two or more object oriented programming language (Apex, Java, .Net), patterns, database design- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns, SOA, SOC, etc.- Understanding of Web 2.0, cloud architecture, client-server architecture- Understanding of data migration considerations, design tradeoffs & common ETL tools- Able to lead internal and client teams on Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices- Proven background in overseeing on-and-off shore developers on client projects and COE projects- Able to provide support for and participate in Presales activities including RFP responses, presentations, architectural recommendations and reviews- Proven background with documenting and presenting technical requirements through various communication channels, including client interface- Able to guide the development team in the appropriate use of technology, best practices on the platform- Able to execute regular code reviews and mentor development team on development best practices- Define unit testing standards and leverage existing Salesforce Apex unit testing standards EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Strong understanding of and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams including use of JIRAExperience in object-oriented design patterns and data modelingExperience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Manufacturing & Retail Industries preferredExperience with B2B Commerce (CloudCraze) preferred QUALIFICATIONS Salesforce Certifications essentional. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Technology, Engineering or similar. Required skills
