One of the UKs leading Insurance Companies has a fantastic opportunity to join them in their income protection department as a Medical Claims Assessor.As a Medical Claims Assessor you will provide a pro-active and comprehensive claims assessment and management service for a specific account portfolio. You will be authorising and processing the payment of claims on all group protection products and develop and build effective relationships with IFAs and Policyholders.To be considered you will ideally have previous experience of medical claims products ideally including income protection. You will have an understanding of medical conditions and their effects on an individuals ability to work. Other claims backgrounds may also be considered where you have gained a strong understanding of medical conditions and rehabilitation.You will be rewarded with a first class benefits package with genuine opportunities for progression and career development.Interviews will take place initially over the phone then moving to a video interview. There is potential to work from home occasionally and dependent on timescales the role may start at home.
