Job Description

H9 Technical are looking to hire a Mechanical Fitter to work at our clients Waste Management facilities in the South East of LondonRole overview

  • Responsible for delivering the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules as defined by the site maintenance plans, working to a high standard and in a cost effective manner.
  • Responsible for planning, organising and undertaking corrective and reactive work and be responsible for delivering improvement projects leading to increased plant reliability and cost reduction.
  • You will have experience of working within a processing or manufacturing environment
  • Good awareness of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and their impacts, along with a good understanding of proactive maintenance strategies and safe systems of work is required for this role, along with knowledge of CMMS systems, their purposeand functions, as well as electrical system and safety.
Experience and Qualifications
  • ONC / HNC / City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in an appropriate engineering discipline
  • Previous experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
  • Knowledge of CMMS and electrical systems.
  • Good understanding of a proactive maintenance strategy and condition monitoring
