Job Description

Bright Selection is recruiting a Head of Sales and Marketing for an established elderly care provider based in the East of England.This is a strategic role where you will be responsible for developing effective strategic and tactical sales plans through building relationships with key stakeholders. This is a group wide role and requires working strategically with the rest of the senior leadership team to secure increased short and long-term business opportunities for the group of homes.We are seeking a senior sales and marketing professional with specific sector experience, who can lead, inspire and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve the budgeted occupancy and fee levels for the whole group.Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality sales leadership to nominated services to improve sales.
  • Provide leadership and line management to the sales team, including hands on coaching as required.
  • Take lead in all designated sales week activity within the group and able to measure the success and outcomes of such events.
  • Leading weekly sales calls with Home Managers.
  • Reviewing activity, KPIs and pipelines at care home level.
  • Conducting marketing and competitor research.
  • Working closely with the marketing function to identify campaign opportunities to drive leads
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for achieving / exceeding budgeted occupancy and fee levels for the whole group.
  • Essential Criteria:
  • Care home sector experience within a sales and marketing management capacity
  • Proven success in sales roles at least for 3 years at regional level.
  • In depth understanding of the workings of key sector stakeholders such as Local Authorities, GPs, CCGs and other commissioning groups.
  • Detailed understanding of competitor activity and competitors pricing, products and services
  • Experience in delivering results in the private pay market
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a tenacious attitude and drive for success and improvement
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills and good attention to detail
  • A sales or marketing qualification would be desirable
  • Renumeration:
  • Basic salary c65,000pa plus car allowance
