Job Description

CSG are currently working on behalf of an extremely innovative, market-leader in the Building Materials industry. To build on their growth, our client is looking to appoint a Head of Sales, which will be a nationwide position with a focus on the South Eastregion of England.The Candidate:The successful Head of Sales in the UK will:

  • Develop new customers including, but not limited to- contractors, distributors, and architects
  • Be responsible for heading-up and growing the entire sales division, including managing all sales functions
  • Help to develop the annual sales plan and strategy for the UK, in conjunction with the Director.
  • Assist with the hiring process for new sales employees, as and when required
  • To train other personnel as required in regard to products, in order to generate product awareness, knowledge and understanding.
  • Provide sales and business development support for products by maintaining contact with contractors and distributors.
The successful Head of Sales in the UK will require:
  • have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales and specification role, preferably within the Building Materials industry.
  • have a strong sales and technical oriented background.
  • have experience with all relevant software packages.
  • have extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives.
