A well-established engineering consultancy currently has an urgent requirement for an Air Tightness Engineer to compliment their team of engineers. You will be responsible for carrying out air tightness and acoustic testing across the South East Englandarea for a number of high profile public and private sector clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to further develop their career within a highly successful engineering company where professional development is promoted andtraining provided.QualificationsQualified in an engineering disciplineExperienceBackground/previous experience in engineering, surveying, building, construction etc.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as report writing will be one of the key aspects of this roleAn understanding and knowledge of a buildings anatomyComputer literateDutiesResponsible for end-to-end management of client engagement; arranging site visits, pre-engagement with the site manager to ensure pre-site checks had been conducted, explaining design features and faults to the site manager, explaining where improvementscan be made to the design of the building;Undertake design reviews with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Architects and Regional Managers.Identify potential problems and/or weakness with the building designSuggest cost effective ways to improve the energy efficiency of the building.Undertake pre-test auditsProduce detailed technical reports to identify potential leakage areasCompliance with Part L Building RegulationsProjects/ClientsTypes of properties include Public and Private sector buildings ranging from single house tests to large scale development testing.Interested in this or other roles in Acoustics Please do not hesitate to contact Amir Gharaati on or call .
