Job Description

NonStop care are working with a Good Ofsted Island Authority based in a the South East for the opportunity to work in a beautiful island location, they are seeking passionate and driven social workers to join their Children Assessment and Safeguarding Team (CAST).As a social worker in this authority, you will have the opportunity to work in a beautiful environment, surrounded by natural beauty and a close-knit community. Your Responsibilities:
  • Assess and safeguard children at risk
  • Work with families to provide support and make sure that children are safe and well
  • Develop and implement care plans for children at risk
  • Support children and families through court proceedings
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
  • Post-qualified experience across assessment and/or child protection
  • Ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users safety and well-being
  • Must drive and have access to own vehicle.
  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
