Job Description

Frog Bikes Mission is to make lightweight bikes that children want to ride, parents want to buy, and stores want to sell.We are a fast-growing and award-winning company, offering an excellent career opportunity for the right candidate to join us on a full-time basis. We are looking for an experienced, proven and confident Area Sales Representative to join our UK Team.The post holder will be accountable for making sure that the sales activity in the territory is efficient, hits target and that retail partners are equipped to deal with the future growth that we are aiming for. The Sales representative maintains and expandsrelationships with all customers and is responsible for achieving sales targets and objectives.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of Frog Bikes, its technology, history and products and be able to train store staff on Frog Bikes USPs
  • Actively sign-up new quality independent bike stores to become Frog Bikes stockists
  • Regularly visit new and existing stockists with demo bikes, updates to the range and new product launches to encourage them to purchase and sell more Frog products
  • Proactively develop and maintain an excellent relationship with stores and be the first point of call for all enquiries
  • Maintain a detailed customer visit and call logs schedule updated on a weekly basis
  • Visit all stores on a rolling 6-8 week program
  • Weekly phone call catch ups with the UK Sales Manager to provide updates on visits and feedback on the current market
  • Represent the Frog Bikes brand at events as required to support stores in their territory
  • Work closely with the customer services and finance teams to ensure payments are received and orders are fulfilled
  • Keep a constant knowledge of stock availability and lead times for production
  • Be able to use the Frog Bikes CRM system effectively to place orders and access reporting tools
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Owns the customer relationship and leads solution development efforts internally that best address customer needs
Individuals Requirements: We are looking for commitment and drive; experience and unequivocal skill at doing the job. You will have confidence in your abilities and be able to get others on board with your vision and enthusiasm.
  • Previous experience in an autonomous sales representative role
  • A proven track record in attaining sales goals (ideally with independent retailers)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to build collaborative, mutual beneficial working relationships with retailers providing support and expertise to assist them to succeed
  • Planning and prioritisation skills to manage your time effectively across a significant geographical area (able to travel with periods away overnight from home when required)
  • An interest and knowledge in cycling would be very beneficial
  • Full UK driving license is essential for this field based role
  • Proficient with IT including good working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and can navigate a CRM system
