Thats why we live by our values of were positive, were brave, and we own it.The Role:The Project Managers role is to deliver project deliverables by actively managing risks and delivering to specified timescales, budgets, and quality, to achieve the benefits defined within the business case. Projects allocated are from business-wide programsof change within the BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK Strategic Portfolio.The Project Manager acts on behalf of the Project Steering Group and has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, within the constraints and tolerances laid down by the Group and Programme Management Office (PMO).Key Responsibilities:1. Project Management and Project Governance:- Produce a project plan and maintain it by monitoring project or work stream activities to the plan, taking corrective actions if necessary, where the overall project is unlikely to deliver its agreed outcome and results to achieve its benefits- Man manage the project teams or work streams on a day to day basis to ensure required products are produced and delivered as specified/defined via the work packages or work assigned to ensure specific project deliverables are delivered as agreed- Liaise with and hold checkpoint meetings with project / work stream team plus clients, partners, third parties and stakeholders, ensuring an effective and professional customer/provider relationship is established and maintained- Identify, assess and manage project or work stream risks including contingency planning- Manage project or work stream issues including implementation of corrective actions, escalating high impact ones- Manage changes to scope, quality, plan and costs as agreed and ensure configuration management processes are adhered to- Ensure risks and issues regarding production of project or work stream products and completion of work packages are identified and dealt with efficiently and effectively- Manage the project budget to achieve the Business Case and highlight under and over spends outside of agreed tolerances to the Finance Department in order for the appropriate accounting actions to take place- Make key decisions on behalf of the BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK Group, taking direction from the Project Sponsor and Project Steering Group, plus advice from various Business and Technical Managers, plus Head of Business Transformation, who are keystakeholders for the assigned projects2. Leadership- Lead project teams to provide clear direction to said colleagues to understand their role, responsibilities and accountabilities within the project and their value to achieving our business strategic goals3. Stakeholder Management- To communicate effectively internally within the project or work stream teams, as well as with other key stakeholders within the BNP Paribas PF UK and at regional / group level, and where appropriate with clients, partners and other third parties to ensureall parties are kept informed of their role, accountabilities and responsibilities, plus project progress, changes, key risks and major issuesSkills & Attributes:· Must be Prince2 qualified· Experienced with Agile Project Management· Leadership skills· Self-starter who will work on own initiative and drives others· Delivery focused / results driven § Effective risk assessment and management· Excellent communication skills· Excellent stakeholder management skills· Proven budget control and cost management· Effective problem-solving skillsCould this be youBNP Paribas Personal Finance believe its a positive attitude and passion to make things happen that matters most.Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job.
