Temp-to-perm opportunity for a market-leading manufacturing business.Favourable day shift (06:30-15:00) with free parking.Our busy manufacturing site in the Solihull area is currently seeking two experienced Production Operatives/ Assemblers to assist in medium-to-large scale wood-based projects, leading to a permanent job. This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Operativeto learn a new trade, whether you have a background in automotive, plastics, workshop, case-making or any other factory-based role. The company are in a strong position to offer a permanent contract based on time keeping and attendance is kept up to a highstandard.Hours of work: 0630-1500 Monday to Thursday, with a 1400 finish on the FridayPay rate: £10.42 p/h.It is vital that all applicants come from an assembling environment; can take/read basic measurements and are able to work well as part of a team. As such food process operators applicants need not apply. Previous experience as an assembler or machinist wouldbe ideal and may prove highly advantageous.Key skills for the Production Assembler role must include:- Highly motivated and proactive- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment- Flexibility with working hours, in the event of deadlines being pushed forward on orders- Capable of picking up training quickly and efficiently- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and qualityIf you feel that you have suitable experience for the Production Operative assembler position, please email or click to apply
