PHP Developer - £35000-£38000 - SolihullPrivate Health + Pension + Annual LeaveCompanyOur client is one of the UKs leading Digital Technology Consultancies based around Web Development, Demand Generation and Software Development and boasting award-winning status across their 20 year trading history. Due to planned growth across their luxurious Midlands offices, they are now seeking a fresh yet experienced PHP Developer to join their thriving Technical Division at their Solihull base.Our client is seeking 2x PHP Developers to take on the following tasks:

  • Spearhead the delivery of high-quality code.
  • Encourage creativity and efficiency throughout complex digital projects.
  • Contribute ideas and direction to the development team.
  • Working closely within a close-knit team and reviewing your peers work
  • Communicating clearly and constructively with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
    • To be considered for this position applicants will ideally have the following skill-set and working knowledge of:
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, PHP 5 and 7
  • MySQL
  • Git and Github and/or Gitlab
  • Composer / npm
  • OOP design patterns
  • Bootstrap / Foundation
  • A PHP MVC framework - Laravel ideally
  • An understanding of web security
  • Knowledge of software design patterns
  • Experience of building highly-scalable web applications
  • PSR coding standards
  • API integration
