IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Team LeaderSolihullUp to £40,000 basic salaryCPS Group UK Ltd are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Team Leader to join the largest independent non-food buying group in the UK and Ireland. As the IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Team Leader you will support and enhance the business systems and services.Responsibilities:Oversee the day to day running of the IT Infrastructure team & Service Desk Team.Deputise for the IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Manager when they are temporarily out of the business.Continually assess the risks to the IT systems to minimise possible security threats.Provides status reporting to management.Work with the IT Infrastructure & Service Desk Manager to support the planning and delivery of all departmental projects.Coordinate and implement the installation, testing and development of the IT infrastructure including hardware and software.Investigate and resolve systems issues.Manage, mentor and train staff within the team, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to deliver a high-quality service to agreed standards.Assist with the management of service contracts, including vendors, managed service providers and suppliers as well as managing escalations to 3rd parties.
