SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a superb and rapidly growing US owned business in South Birmingham in the recruitment of a Financial Reporting Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA Qualified Accountant to make the first move into industry whereby you will report to a highly supportive Senior Financial Reporting Manager (ACA Qualified) who will offer you excellent experience within a broad reachingrole. Key areas of responsibility will include: - To support in the preparation of UK VAT and CT returns, working with external advisors as appropriate - To support Irish teams in preparation of local VAT and CT returns, with external advisors - To co-ordinate Irish and UK statutory audits, act as key contact and work with business to ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance - To prepare Irish reporting, acquisition accounting, period and quarter end Group reporting, intercompany and leases accounting, and other areas as appropriately directed by the Financial Reporting Manager - To prepare period end reconciliations, where appropriate, and assist the Manager in maintaining access and reporting - To support the Senior Financial Reporting Manager with technical accounting, ad hoc group reporting and projects - Support the Financial Reporting team in delivery of ad hoc projects Our client offers an exceptional list of benefits as well as hybrid working (2 days in the office) For a job description and a confidential discussion, please apply today.
