Job Description

Do you thrive in a role where you can drive continuous improvement and ensure value for money in the delivery of educational and social care services If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Service Care Solutions are seeking an experienced Contract & Quality Assurance Manager to join a committed and supportive team at Solihull Metropolitan Council. This will initially be a 3 month contract with the potential of this being extended.

  • £21.47 per hour
  • 2 days in the office - 3 at home
  • MUST be able to drive for site visits
  • Experience of contract management is essential - experience of childrens services is desirable.
Duties
  • Ensure improvement actions/recovery plans are implemented and escalate this to the Lead Commissioner if improvements are not made.
  • Carry out a risk assessment of available quantitative and qualitative data in order to prioritise quality assurance and contract manage activities.
  • Set up, participate in and contribute to Provider Review Meetings in consultation with the lead Commissioner as and when required.
  • Carry out quality assurance visits to external placements and produce a report and action plan
Person Specification
  • Experience of working within education/childrens services plus experience of working in a contract management and administrative environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of contract management practices and techniques.
  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory frameworks, ensuring that providers are appropriately registered, and when unregulated providers are used that local quality standards for the sector are understood and complied with.
