Job Description

Pristine SCS is a fast-paced commercial cleaning company based in Mersham, Ashford. We operate nationwide but focus our attention on central London. Due to continuing substantial growth in 2020, we are seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper to start with three days a week and gradually move to five days a week as growth continues.Pristine SCS operates a hard-working, but family-feel environment within our newly built offices near Evegate Business Park. We are a decade established business with over thirty ground staff and five internal office staff.As a bookkeeper, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. Previous experience within the professional services or construction Industry is desirable.A minimum 2 years of experience with Xero accounting software is a "must-have".Payroll experience is a must have, preferrably through Xero.The Role:

  • Managing weekly payroll for contractors and staff.
  • Managing weekly sales and purchase invoices.
  • Regular cash flows, budgets, and forecast documents.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Management of pension schemes.
  • Managing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly PAYE returns and submitting pensions.
  • Liaising with HMRC when necessary
  • Monthly financial reporting for finance meetings
  • Managing company accounts in Xero.
  • General bookkeeping duties
  • Some office management duties
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping. Experience within the professional services or construction industry is desirable.
  • Mastery in verbal and written communication of the English language
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Experienced in using Xero
  • Experienced in Payroll management
  • The Benefits:
  • 8.30 AM - 4:00 PM Part-time, salary Pro-rata working three days with the potential to being five days.
