Job Description

Are you a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with a strong grasp of Treasury operations Perhaps youve previously served as a Treasury Auditor at a Big 4 firm or transitioned from Big 4 to an in-house Treasury Finance Manager role within the finance departmentof a FTSE 100 organisation Noteworthy: this role does not pertain to back-office Treasury functions.Role Overview:

  • Lead the oversight of monthly reports for Treasury Entities, scrutinising cash, debt, and derivative positions for punctual Group submission.
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of the monthly treasury P&L, with a focus on interest charges, foreign exchange gains/losses, and other P&L components.
  • Ensure the timely completion of treasury balance sheet reconciliations, adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborate on the Annual Report Financial Instruments disclosure by closely working with Treasury and Corporate Reporting teams, ensuring the production of a high-quality note.
  • Take charge of preparing Statutory Accounts for Treasury entities, streamlining the audit process.
  • Document all FX and Hedging Structures, ensuring meticulous review and approval of hedging documentation.
  • Assess monthly derivative valuations to guarantee proper accounting treatment. Work closely with the Treasury team to formulate the 3rd party Interest Forecast and Plan.
  • Engage in day-to-day treasury operations, providing insights into potential accounting impacts and monitoring them within the Treasury P&L, applying practical aspects of IFRS 9 (non-specialist role).
Professional Qualifications/Experience:
  • Possess a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or an international equivalent, showcasing technical proficiency and effective execution.
  • Accumulate more than 2 years of post-qualified experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Treasury Reporting, displaying knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
  • Showcase proficiency in preparing Statutory Accounts under both UK GAAP and IFRS.
