Robert Walters are currently working in partnership with a global organisation based in Slough, Berkshire who are seeking a Treasury Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.A true global leader in their field, our client are seeking a Treasury Accountant who can take ownership for transactions within our clients group.As a Treasury specialist, you will be able to design and implement improvements across the function as well as become the go to person the our clients Treasury Accounting System. You will also take ownership of hedge accounting and analyse complex and newtreasury transactions.Further key roles & responsibilities for this Treasury Accountant role include:* Prepare detailed accounting entries for treasury transactions, including those relating to debt* Design and implement improvements to the treasury accounting system, processes and internal controls and ensure UK SOX quality compliance with treasury accounting controls* Preparation of technical accounting memos for complex, new and unusual treasury transactions.* Preparation of treasury disclosures in the Group annual and interim financial statements* Issuing company and support review of various company statutory accounts* Support colleagues both at Group and at sites with treasury related issues and ad hoc projects.We would love to speak to candidate with the following experience:* Qualified Accountant - ACA or equivalent* AMCT Qualification desirable * Working knowledge of Treasury Accounting* Recent and up to date knowledge of accounting standards applicable to Treasury* Knowledge of SAP & TMS (FIS Integrity)* Can operate as a key business partner across the wider businessThis is a key role for our client as they look for a Treasury candidate who can really come in and make a difference to the function.
