Our client, a high growth fully NYSE listed US software business with a European HQ in the Thames Valley, is looking to recruit a Senior Tax Manager. Reporting into the European Controller with a dotted line into the Head of Tax in the US.Repsonsbilities:Tax Accounting- coordinate the yearly EMEA tax calculation for US-GAAP- coordinate the quarterly EMEA tax calculation for US-GAAP- prepare the monthly cash tax payments/refunds reporting- prepare the quarterly FIN48 reporting- prepare the quarterly tax audit status reportingAudits- co-ordinate & manage tax audits, leading opening meetings, coordinate and monitor the timely answer to the queries, prepare comprehensive statements to queries of the various tax auditors- review final tax audit reports and prepare adjusted tax balance sheet for the years following tax audits and update fillings as appropriate.Tax compliance- coordinate the preparation of corporation tax returns for all EMEA legal entities and ensure timely filings- deal with any and all VAT & corporation tax issues in the daily business- manage transfer pricing documentation and filings- Prepare & report all DAC6 filings- assist and support VAT compliance and provide regular updates to the teamM&A- work on contractual issues related to M&A, restructuring and similar projects throughout EMEA alongside the VP Finance EMEA.Requirements- Excellent working knowledge of EMEA VAT & Corporation Tax at an individual country level- Preferably qualified in a Top 4 background, looking to move into industry- Proven skills of working in a matrix environment as an influencer- Desire to stay up-to-date with all European tax legislation and prepare management for all necessary impacts- Deadline driven Required skills
