Job Description

Senior Management Accountant The Senior Management Accountant role is a key position within the finance function at the Corporate Headquarters of a FTSE 100 company and is responsible for several core finance and holding companies.The preparation of high-quality Statutory Accounts under FRS101 and FRS102 is a key deliverable. The Group regularly undertakes internal and external transactions impacting the Finance and Holding Companies. The Senior Management Accountant will be pivotal in processing these transactions in addition to business partnering with other functions across the Group.Strong communication skills are important, as you will be dealing regularly with Senior Management cross functionally.The key areas of accountability are as follows:Management Accounting

  • Ensure high quality Management Accounts are submitted to Group meeting Corporate deadlines.
  • Liaise with finance departments globally to ensure intercompany balances are aligned.
  • Work with other teams to process capital transactions.
    • Statutory Accounts Preparation
  • Prepare the Statutory Accounts for various HQ companies.
  • Work with the auditors to resolve any audit queries as required.
    • Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Recent demonstrable experience of statutory account preparations, FRS101, FRS102, UK GAAP.
  • Recent demonstrable hands-on Management Account preparation.
  • HFM experience would be desirable.
  • Also experienced in clear coherent intelligent presentation of information for use and understanding by all staff, from Corporate Controller and other company directors.
