Job Description

QC Technician needed by an excellent food manufacturer that supplies artisan bakery products - the company produce high quality products and have built a high calibre team.OUR CLIENTIs a leading manufacturer/supplier of bakery products to a wide range of customers including some of the retailers. The company is successful and forward looking with an expanding, continuously developing product range, reflecting the business objectives and the dynamic nature of the market.THE QC TechnicianThis is a position working on the backshift (2pm-10pm), reporting to the Quality Supervisor. Key activities within the role are:-

  • Ensure that all results are clearly communicated to the shift manager/team leader/QC and work closely with them when testing product
  • Ensure finished products meets specification
  • Positive release the products on the system
  • Carry out preparation, measurement and bake off products for the internal
  • testing panel
  • Ensure that all relevant quality standard are clearly understood
    • YOUR BACKGROUND will include food quality education and experience of working within the food industry where you will have been part of ensuring quality standards are implemented, improved and maintained on a continuous basis.HACCP, Allergens, GMP and Hygiene will be key areas we are looking for applicants to have experience of.You will need first class communication skills and a strong work ethic as well as flexibility and the ability to use IT tools for reporting and recording data.There are plenty of opportunities to progress your technical career through endeavour and application.
