Job Description

Our client is a stands as a global leader in construction and infrastructure technology, working with government authorities, asset owners, construction companies and design offices to support their infrastructure projects.They are seeking a Project Manager on a permanent basis for their team based in Slough. In this role, you will beaccountable for the planning, execution, delivery and ongoing maintenance of manual monitoring, Robotic Inspection and survey projects.Key Responsibilities

  • Define how individual projects are conducted, supervised and how performance is reported so that weaknesses can be addressed, and strengths exploited.
  • Ensure concise communications with team members, support functions and customers through regular contact, both written and verbal.
  • Ensure that there are appropriate processes and governance in place, to manage scope variation.
  • Actively contribute and encourage involvement of your team for Quality, Safety and Environmental initiatives, in order to promote a proactive Health and Safety culture across the business.
  • Minimise costs through efficient use of time, equipment, manpower and subcontract services. Including cross functionality across the business.
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • When working as a person in charge will be accountable for their safety and the safety of all persons in their work group. This includes risks of being struck by trains and from the risks associated with the task and location. As a person in chargehold COSS / SWL competencies or IWA when working alone.
  • Prioritise, plan and deliver work as a Responsible Manager line with the requirements in NR/L2/OHS/019.
Key Skills
  • Detailed knowledge of geotechnical and structural monitoring options, methods of reporting and how information is used by customers.
  • Educated to degree level or extensive experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with direct reports, colleagues and customers
  • AutoCAD and Landscape software expertise.
  • Hold a range of competences including CSCS, PTS, Controller of Site Safety, Lookout & Site Warden railway competences.
  • Experience of Civil Engineering projects
