Job Description

This role requires a Part-Time Bookkeeper with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the Leisure, Travel and Tourism industry. The candidate will play a significant role in managing financial duties within a robust and efficient department.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established organisation in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. Known for their excellent customer service, they have a growing workforce of over 500 employees spread across multiple locations including Slough.DescriptionThis part-Time Bookkeeper role will require you to do the following:

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliation in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly close of the company financial system
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform compliance audits
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects within the finance department
  • Cooperate with the companys external auditors
ProfileA successful Part-Time Bookkeeper should have:
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
