Manufacturing OperativeShifts: 8am - 5pm (1:30pm finish on Fridays)Based in Slough £11.27 Per hour Temp ongoing - with a review from MayMust be able to lift heavy objectsWe are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our clients manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Operative. The role involves various tasks related to the production process, including hand sanding components, utilizing hand tools, inspectingparts, stock management, and general duties such as packing and bagging. Full training will be provided to ensure proficiency in all aspects of the job.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform hand sanding on components to meet quality standards.- Utilize computer skills for basic tasks related to the production process.- Operate hand tools such as deburrers, orbital sander, and bandsaw efficiently and safely.- Use measuring equipment including vernier calipers and height gauges to ensure accurate specifications.- Conduct inspections of parts to authorized levels to maintain quality control standards.- Assist with stock management duties when required.- Engage in general manufacturing duties such as packing and bagging products.**Requirements:**- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team.- Basic computer literacy for data entry and communication purposes.- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Trustworthy and reliable with a strong work ethic.- Ideally, the candidate should have the ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and be proficient in using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers and height gauges.**Hours and Compensation:**- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a Friday finish at 1:30 pm.- Hourly Rate: £11.27 per hour.- Location: SL1 4PN.**Training:**- Comprehensive training will be provided to familiarize the successful candidate with all aspects of the role.- Full personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment will be supplied where required to ensure a safe working environment.This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
