Audit & Risk Recruitmentare currently engaged with a large Energy company with a global footprint. I am looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join a close-knit team in the UK, where you will be working closely with the Head of Auditto provide assurance to senior management, the Board and the Audit Committee that the businesses risk management, governance and internal control processes are designed and operating effectively.As the successful candidate you will play a key role in designing and developing risk based internal audit plans and will take ownership of a portfolio of audits. This is a varied role and you while you will predominantly be internal audit focused, you willhave the opportunity to be involved in other projects including IT Audits and also be highly involved in the development of the methodology and the data driven approach being used to promote effective corporate governance throughout the business.You will have the opportunity to work on large scale global projects, and while this role has no direct line management you will be leading large teams on engagements and have the opportunity to hone your management style. here will be an aspect of travel,both domestically and international which will not exceed 25%. There is a grown up approach to flexible working with an expectation of 2 days a week in the office, but this flexible on weeks when you return from travel.To be considered you will likely be a chartered accountant with a background at a Big 4/ Top 10 practice firm and have experience working in-house at a large complex organisation. Risk based auditing experience is essential and any data analytics will behighly sought after but not essential.
