Job Description

My client is recruiting for a permanent Import Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.The role is a 4 on 4 off shift 7am - 7pm.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to air import and operations team, assisting with administration, documentation and other duties as assigned, incl. but not limited to;
  • Taking and responding to calls and emails.
  • Tracking cargo
  • Dealing with airlines, government agencies and HMRC.
  • Booking jobs
  • Customer interaction.
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times
  • Gathering and processing shipping documentation.
  • Uploading information into internal systems ensuring accurate information is passed onto the clearing clerks and duty managers.
  • Filing, and other general administrative duties.
SKILLS:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy in MS Outlook and MS Excel would be an advantage
