Our client, a successful media company, is seeking a competent Finance Manager for a part-time contract working in office three days a week.Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining sales ledger, invoicing/receipts, producing month end reports, credit control and resolving disputes and queries. Maintaining purchase ledger; authorising and code all invoices received. Arranging BACS payments. Analysing and reconciling quarterly royalty payments. Handling company credit cards including analysis and code transactions. Requesting information on transactions for VAT purposes as necessary. Supporting management of bank accounts, bank cheques received. Allocating all receipts and payments for Sales & Purchase Ledger. Checking monthly bank reconciliations (across various currencies). Performing control and reconciliation of petty cash. Handling the monthly payment run. Conducting payroll preparation for processing. Arranging monthly HMRC/PAYE/NI payments. Online P46 car information for HMRC. Preparing and submitting annual P11d. Performing liaison with pensions and processing monthly pension contributions. Performing various month end activities to include; preparing and posting journals, pre-payments and accruals, balance sheet reconciliations. Providing subsidiary P&L and balance sheet reports (sage line50). Conducting month end inter-company reconciliations. Supporting with various Year End activities such as closing year end accounts (Sage), Audit File preparations and audit support. Preparing management accounts for the Group and Subsidiary. Preparing and reconciling quarterly VAT returns to HMRC. General administration such as filing, payroll and pension contract. Requirements: Experience working within a finance department, ideally across media/music industries. Commenced a CIMA / ACCA qualification. IT skills that include solid proficiency Microsoft Office systems such as Excel and Word. Software knowledge of Sage50 desirable. Capable of managing workload in a high-pressure work environment. Solid communicator across all levels of the organisation.
