Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity for anyone with Automotive industry experience who has a passion for selling, looking to step into an office-based position.The main purpose of this role will be to identify, convert, manage and develop new business opportunities. Key responsibilities will be to identify and convert prospects, ensure customer retention and maximise profitability primarily through telephone contact.Client DetailsMy client, who are based in Slough, are an innovative company who specialise in the automotive industry and are a global leading brand.They have created a fun, supportive work environment so employees enjoy coming into work!DescriptionKey responsibilities of the Business Development Executive include:

  • Identify, prospect and convert customers.
  • Focus on a high level of outbound calling ensuring maximum contact ratio.
  • Contribute to the entire new business process, suggesting innovative and reasoned ideas to maximise new customer sign up.
  • Ensure customers understand the companies service and are aware of how their account will be managed
  • Ensure all individual and departmental sales targets are achieved.
  • To contribute to the overall success of the team by both personal performance and team spirit.
  • Ensure all customer and management reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
ProfileThe successful Business Development Executive will:
  • Be inspirational.
  • Display a positive attitude at all times.
  • Able to communicate negotiate and present at a senior level with an ability to empathise with the target audience using telephone and face to face skills.
  • Must be a good active listener with the intuition to recognise and act on potential buying signals and sales opportunities.
  • A proven telesales track record in business to business sales. Ideally this experience would be within the car industry or contract hire sector.
  • Customer driven with a proven ability to build long-term relationships and provide creative and innovative solutions to a wide variety of customers.
  • Excellent time management skills. Well organised with the ability to plan and manage own workload.
  • High Achievement drive with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Must enjoy being part of and actively participating in a team environment.
  • Must be open to constructive feedback on own performance and development needs.
