Job Description

Position: BI ManagerLocation: Slough (hybrid working)Salary: £75,000Interviewing now - Apply today!My client is the industry leader in fleet management, with around 2 million vehicles under their direct management in countries around the world. In this, they buy, invest and manage new vehicles for their customers, providing a complete E2E service, witha focus on sustainable mobility.They are now looking for a talented and high technical BI Manager to join their team, working on a hybrid basis out of their modern offices in Slough.In this role as a BI Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Data & BI at the company, whilst being responsible for your own team of BI Analysts and BI Developers. You will aim to deliver a effective and efficient BI & Data development service as wellas working with the wider team to manage end-to-end processes, which covers the back end in ETL and data warehouse functions, as well as the delivery and development of BI & Data solutions.Qualifications and experience needed:

  • Solid experience in managing the development and delivery of front-end BI & Data solutions.
  • Excellent inter-personal & communication skills with experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Self-starter with focus on problem solving.
  • Proven ability as a People Manager to manage IT Teams through complex organisational change.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise key issues in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Experienced in communicating with senior stakeholders and end users.
  • Strong engagement and outcome-based delivery ethic.
  • Solid coaching ethic, and a great record of developing people.
  • E2E development and delivery of BI & Data solutions across data warehouses, data marts, ETL
  • Experience of SQL including data comparison and transformation.
  • Development and delivery experience in Cognos
  • Development and delivery experience in Power BI
  • BI Business Analyst experience
  • Advanced data and analytical skills
  • Practical experience of delivering in Agile (Scrum) environments
  • Experience of working alongside an offshore delivery team.
  • Financial Services and / or Vehicle industry experience is a strong advantage
