Find your future with us.Boeing Defence UK is looking for an ILS (Product Support Engineering) Reliability & Maintainability Engineer(Integrated Support Planning & Management) to support its rotor wing programs.Boeing Defence UK operates an engineering matrix organisation consisting of engineering capabilities that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. Oneof the capabilities is Product Support Engineering (ILS Engineering) which provides the product supportability infrastructure comprising the following technical areas:Logistic Support AnalysisReliability and MaintainabilityReliability Centred Maintenance AnalysisEngineeringData ExploitationIntegrated Logistic Support Engineering andTechnical PublicationsThe Integrated Logistics Support Engineer (R&M) will support the CAMO and the Chinook CH47 Lead ILS Engineer reporting to the BDUK ILS Manager. The CH47 (R&M) ILS Engineer will:GenerateR&M and Data Exploitation artefacts to support the CAM organisation,Support the review and assessment of tech services (ILS) documentationPreparation of material for briefings, meetings and formal working groups (internal and external)Attendance as requiredat internal, supplier and customer meetingsLiaison with CH47 Systems functions (Engineering (Safety), Technical Publications, SCM, Training, Programme Management and Security) to ensure Tech Services remains informed and aligned with wider P8 developmentsand progress.Liaison with the Customer on specific areas of Technical ServicesAssist in the Co-ordination of Tech Services and CAM deliverables (CDRLs) ensuring timely inputs are received, reviewed and the final output is ready for approval and acceptanceprocessHighlight any issues or opportunities within Technical Services at the earliest possible point and where required support mitigation and development plans for addressing highlighted concernsWork as directed by the BDUK ILS Lead Engineer in support ofthe CAMO and the BDUK ILS ManagerKey skills required for the post:A thorough understanding of Support Engineering in the Military environmentA thorough understanding of 4000 series MAA RAsA proven ability to undertake R&M engineeringAn understanding of thederivation and creation of Support Product documentationAbility to work with the cross functional business stakeholders to identify optimisation opportunities and ways in which suppliers can enhance our offering to our clientsAbility to Liaise with the OEMplatform side of Boeing to integrate the UK solutions with those that exist on the base platformsProven ability to drive first time qualityExperience Required:Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering subjectEssential to have experiencein Reliability and Maintainability EngineeringEssential to be able to to obtain UK SC security clearanceEssential to have an understanding on either the Civil or Military Aviation regulatory ArticlesIt is highly desirable that you would have experience inILS in the Military environment , with Logistics Support Analysis with the use of LSAR as a foundationExperience of working with international support standards such as Def Stan 00-600, ASD/AIA Suite of S Series ILS Specifications is desirableExperience ofworking and developing Basis of Estimates for Proposals is desirableWork Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
